How to play:
The object of the game is to remove all of the tiles one pair at a time. For a pair of tiles to removed, both tiles must match with each other. A tile is only removable if it has no other tiles on top of it and the tile can be slid out to the left or the right.
To remove a pair of tiles, select each one by clicking the mouse on it. If they match, they will be removed. Clicking on a selected tile again will deselect it.
In most cases, there are four of each tile. However, there are two groups of special tiles that can be matched with other tiles of the same group. One of these special groups is the flowers (bamboo, mum, orchid, plum). The other special group is the seasons (spring, summer, fall, winter).
GO BACK - Clicking on this button will bring back the last pair of tiles you removed. You can do this more than once and go back as far as you would like.
SHOW ALL REMOVABLE MATCHES - This will highlight all pairs of tiles that are currently removable. This is handy if you are stuck and need to see any choices that you may have overlooked. This is also useful if you are new to the game and are not yet used to distinguishing the different tiles apart.
RESHUFFLE REMAINING TILES - If you get stuck, you can reshuffle the remaining tiles. Of course, this is cheating and should only be used as a last resort.
START OVER - Click this if you are stuck or finished and want to start the game over again.
The goal is to clear all of the tiles without reshuffling. It seems hard, but it doesn't have to be. If you take your time and think about what you are doing, you will soon begin to discover strategies which greatly increase the likelihood of completing the puzzle. For example, it is a big help if you always concentrate on first removing those tiles which have the greatest number of other tiles blocked in.
If you get near the end and are stuck with two of the same tile on top of each other, then GO BACK a couple of turns and do a RESHUFFLE.
